Investor Privacy Notice

Operational draft for platform use. It remains subject to final review by Vanira's UK legal counsel before an external investment campaign.

Controller and contact

Vanira Tech Ltd, company number 17393019, with its registered office at Oakridge, St Leonard's Hill, Windsor, Berkshire, United Kingdom, SL4 4AT, is the controller of personal data processed through this platform. Privacy enquiries may be sent to office@vanira.co.uk.

Why we process data

We process basic account data to open the investment narrative, and request additional professional information only when needed to assess eligibility and investment relevance, protect confidential portfolio information, administer controlled due diligence, respond to requests, secure the platform and organise private investor events. We rely, as applicable, on steps requested before a potential transaction, our legitimate interests in operating and protecting the platform, consent where specifically requested, and compliance with legal obligations.

Data we process

This may include account identifiers, contact details, professional role, organisation, jurisdiction, investment mandate, investment history, portfolio references, submitted evidence, application decisions, document and page access activity, event activity, legal acknowledgements and communications with Vanira.

Sources and sharing

Data is supplied by the applicant, generated through use of the platform or obtained from professional references and public sources used for qualification. Access is limited to authorised Vanira operators, relevant portfolio companies and service providers needed for hosting, authentication, storage, security and communications. We do not state that an applicant is qualified solely because an account exists.

International processing

Some service providers or recipients may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where required, Vanira will use an applicable lawful transfer mechanism and proportionate safeguards. Transaction-specific disclosures may be governed by additional terms or agreements.

Retention

Incomplete or declined applications are ordinarily retained for up to 24 months. Approved-investor records, legal acknowledgements, disclosure logs, diligence records and material communications may be retained for up to six years after the last relevant interaction where reasonably needed for security, compliance or legal claims. A longer or shorter period may apply where law, an active transaction, a dispute or a justified deletion request requires it.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability or an objection to processing, and may withdraw consent where consent is the basis used. Authenticated investors can start a tracked request from their private account area. Identity verification and legal, security or audit obligations may affect the response. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office.

Security and decisions

Vanira uses access controls, disclosure tiers, activity records and document integrity checks intended to protect private information. Enhanced investor verification is reviewed by an authorised operator. Creating an account opens the core investment narrative, but does not unlock controlled documents or establish a legal or regulatory investor classification.
